Who does this supplementary privacy notice apply to?
This privacy notice applies to staff and proprietors of applicant businesses, including:
- Advertisers;
- Media Owners; and
- Traders.
What information do we collect and why do we need it?
The information about you which we collect during the authorisation process is
in relation to Advertisers, your:
- Name of Business/Organisation
- Full Name, Email Address and Postal Address of Advertiser Contact at Business/Organisation (including Contact who will attend at Site)
- Type of Advertiser (e.g. Sponsor/Educational)
- Type of Products/Services
- Sport Competition Venue (e.g. NEC)
- Proposed location/dates of Advertising Site;
in relation to Media Owners, your;
- Name of Business/Organisation
- Full Name, Email Address and Postal Address of Media Owner Contact at Business/Organisation (including Contact who will attend at Site)
- Name of Business/Organisation of Advertiser Contact that Media Owner is submitting application on behalf of
- Full Name, Email Address and Postal Address of Advertiser Contact at Business/Organisation that Media Owner is submitting application on behalf of (including Contact who will attend at Site)
- Type of Advertiser (e.g. Sponsor/Educational)
- Type of Products/Services advertised by Advertiser Contact
- Sport Competition Venue
- Proposed location/dates of Media Owner Site;
in relation to Traders, your:
- Name of Business/Organisation
- Full Name, Email Address and Postal Address of Trader Contact at Business/Organisation (including Contact who will attend at Site)
- Type of Trader (Street/Pedlar/etc.)
- Type of Products/Services
- Sport Competition Venue
- Proposed location/dates of Site.
We need to gather this data about you to process your business's application for authorisation to advertise and/or trade in or around Games locations, in line with the prescribed regulations, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (Advertising and Trading) Regulations 2021 ("the Regulations").
Who will have access to your personal information?
We will share your information with Local Authorities, and our supplier Zoho for the above purpose.
How is processing your information lawful?
The OC's lawful basis for processing your personal information is that it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we as controller of your data are subject, namely the Regulations.
