Who can take part?

Are you:

  • Aged 16 to 24?
  • Living in the West Midlands?
  • Want to develop work-related skills?
  • Not sure how else to get involved with the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games?

If your answer is yes (or not sure) to these questions, then Gen22 might be for you!

How much does it cost?

It is FREE to take part in Gen22.

Gen22 is designed to be as inclusive as possible. If you think there are other barriers to you taking part in Gen22, do let us know using the details on this page and we will do what we can to help.

How can I get involved?

Generally, young people are nominated to take part in Gen22 by an organisation who knows or works with them. This could be a youth group, sports club, college, charity, training provider or support group. If you are part of a group that’s not currently involved in Gen22, why not suggest they get onboard? If you are not currently part of an organisation but would still like to take part, please keep an eye on our website where more information about Nominating Organisations will be updated monthly and there may be one you can join.
