There's so much happening in the festival during April.
From City of Empire to City of Diversity
Take a visual journey at the Library of Birmingham to discover how Birmingham moved from being City of Empire to City of Diversity – from 1889 to the present day.
On Record
The In Conversation series of events continues at Symphony Hall, featuring MC Magicka, Dave Twist and Toyah Wilcox. These have been incredible, moving conversations so far - as well as giving audiences a first chance to hear live performances of new songs from the On Record album, set to be released June 17. You can listen to those you've missed here.
Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
Later in April, we are delighted that Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG) Museums is reopening with a new exhibition, We are Birmingham, curated by six young activators from Don’t Settle, a project from Beatfreeks, which will transform the iconic Round Room. It’s an exhibition about 21st century Birmingham, telling a different story about the city, and what it could become.
The Industrial Gallery will see a takeover from a range of creative organisations and projects, including Fierce, Kalaboration Arts and Flatpack’s exploration of cinematic heritage, Wonderland.
Now, Let’s Go Out!
