Culture in Common explores the true meaning and value of Birmingham Culture and identity, inspiring young people to explore and generate original, exciting work in response to the questions:

  1. What is culture?
  2. How does it affect who I am and how I live?
  3. How has growing up and being educated in Birmingham made me who I am?

With the eyes of the world on Birmingham, what insight can young Brummies give into growing up in this wonderful city?

6 local artists, 6 state Primary and Secondary schools and 20 teenage Arts Ambassadors have collaborated to produce artwork in 6 mediums: Performance poetry, dance, art, photography, mask theatre and sound design. There will be a short film following the project celebrating the work generated by the young people of Birmingham.

The film will be available on tuneup.life
