From our opening and closing ceremonies to our world-class arts festival, our live sites to the Queen’s Baton Relay, Birmingham 2022 will be a region-wide celebration of the power of art and culture to bring people together and make connections across the UK and Commonwealth.

Our ambitious arts festival will harness a once in a lifetime opportunity to positively disrupt the region’s cultural sector and inspire lasting change.

Audacious, playful and inclusive, over 6 months it will entertain, engage and embrace at least 2.5million people, setting Birmingham and the West Midlands in a new creative light.
