1.18PM, Relay: Hazelrigg Steps to Rugby Pitch

Join the Queen’s Baton Relay as it visits Loughborough. The Baton will begin its journey on Hazelrigg Steps and make its way to the rugby pitch, before making its way to Epinal Way.

1.41PM, Relay: Rugby Pitch to Epinal Way

The second leg of the Loughborough tour sees the Queen’s Baton Relay make its way along Towers Way to Epinal Way.

1.57PM, Relay: Queen’s Park Entrance to Bandstand

The Queen’s Baton Relay continues its tour of Loughborough as it travels from the entrance of Queen’s Park to the Bandstand where there will be the opportunity for you to join the celebrations as The Queen’s Baton Relay continues its tour.

From 12PM, Celebration: Market Place, Loughborough

Market Place

The main stage will come alive at 1PM with live music and entertainment. There will also be free children’s arts and craft activities and face painting taking place during the afternoon.

There will also be a number of market stalls and children’s fairground rides to showcase Loughborough’s Markets and Fair Royal Charter which celebrated its 800th anniversary last year.

Queen's Park

There will be a free sports activities and children’s games in Queen’s Park between 12PM and 3PM as well as live music in the bandstand.
