Saathi House is an anchor organisation that is committed to supporting women to drive positive change in their lives, in their family's lives, and in the local communities.Together, we are on a journey to engage, enable and empower women to improve their knowledge, skills, networks, opportunities and leadership potential.

Saathi House is hosting and developing a cycling project which incorporates warm up exercises, safe use of public spaces in north Birmingham and bringing residents together for the purpose of good physical and mental health in the community, especially in the shadow of the pandemic and ahead of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The cycling project is open to all in the local community of Aston, Lozells, Witton, Erdington, Perry Barr and Handsworth, with a strong focus on children and women from the South Asian community who are disproportionately affected by health and exercise access inequalities. Our groups and members are also using the project as an opportunity to explore and celebrate their local communities and bringing together people who would not otherwise meet or engage with each other. This project is about health and wellbeing and celebrating north Birmingham's heritage.
