Saathi House is an anchor organisation that is committed to supporting women to drive positive change in their lives, in their family's lives, and in the local communities.Together, we are on a journey to engage, enable and empower women to improve their knowledge, skills, networks, opportunities and leadership potential.

Saathi House is running sewing classes for local residents in north Birmingham, using these workshops and classes to bring together people from various backgrounds to find common grounds in art, design and creating items that celebrate our shared heritage, diversity, unity and multicultural city. We are creating tapestries, collages and murals that illustrate and display various languages, flags, foods, people and cross-cultural expressions or peace and joy, and how they come together in Aston, Lozells, Witton, Erdington, Handsworth, Perry Barr, Birchfield and surrounding areas. We aim to continue expanding these sessions to promote our Commonwealth heritage and shared history.
