Project Details

Iguana Community Art runs art projects with families and children. Created by artist Emma Wood, the project aims to encourage creativity and bring families together through art, by sharing Emma's knowledge and passion.

The community group has an online presence where families and children (ages 4-12) can follow free weekly art sessions with lots of tips and ideas. At the end of 8-10 weeks the group arranges a local exhibition of participants' artwork at local places of interest in Staffordshire and the Midlands, presenting an opportunity to celebrate their achievements and enjoy the community spirit of celebrating their local area.

The group is also planning a free art meet up in Lichfield, combining a walk at the wildlife park with a opportunity to create art outdoors.
