Inspiring Young Birmingham aims to recruit new volunteers and provide consistent training and online support for young people.
As part of its Inspiring Young Birmingham (IYB) Programme, Employability UK offers high-quality workshops to people between the ages of 16-24 to make them confident, motivated, and ‘Games ready.’
The programme includes motivational talks, employability skills knowledge and an ongoing tool to extend their learning and keep them connected to their peers. Together, the programme activity aims to build confidence in young people and develop them into outstanding Ambassadors for the City of Birmingham as well as giving them a robust foundation of employability skills essential for their future careers.
The IYB programme also welcomes young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and the harder to reach, working with them to make them feel more positive and confident and potentially finding a meaningful daytime occupation.
