Sandra Osborne, SCM, QC, attorney-at-Law, was elected President of the Barbados Olympic Association Inc in 2017, having previously served as a Board Member since 2012.

Sandra is a member of the IOC’s Women in Sport Commission. Sandra is Chair of the International Tennis Federation’s Ethics Commission and Honorary Legal Adviser to the Commonwealth Games Federation and Chair of its Governance and Integrity Committee. Between 2001 and 2017 she was Vice President of the Barbados Tennis Association Inc. Sandra is a Queen’s Counsel of Barbados and a Governance Professional with over 40 years’ experience, 25 of which was spent in the financial services industry. She retired in 2013 as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of one of the Caribbean’s leading publicly listed financial services Groups.

Sandra was awarded the Barbados National Honour of Silver Crown of Merit in 2006 in recognition of her contribution to the development of electronic trading and settlement for the Barbados capital market.
