OLDP's (Opportunities for Liberating and Developing your Potentia) gives women and girls careers in the building environment. In the midst of Covid-19, this is even more relevant for women and girls who are adversely affected. The group is a Hub for Women-led social enterprises working in the built environment in central Birmingham www.quaysidetower.com and two social enterprises which offer Women and Girls opportunities for work experience, volunteering and self-employment in Painting and decorating and a waste prevention project.
The hub is self-sufficient with a coffee lounge, well-being room, workshop facilities and meeting rooms as well as hosting a number of Women-led social enterprises.
