The Perry Common Games offers events which will improve health, wellbeing and community relations in the local area.
Through a series of Perry Common Community Games events, starting in 2020 and running through to 2022, people from surrounding neighbourhoods will be brought together to celebrate their communities.
Events will encourage participation and inform people of opportunities available on their doorstep for training, health and wellbeing and volunteering programmes, which will help build confidence and self-esteem ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
There are several community facilities in the area, which newer residents may not be familiar with and these events will raise awareness of such facilities, including a live music venue, craft fairs and a youth centre.
