B-Side Hip Hop Festival is the UK's No.1 festival of its genre enjoying year-on-year audience and participant growth, with the ambition to be one of the best in the world. Embracing four elements:
- Dance (breakin')
- Music (DJ)
- Spoken word (MC/Rap)
-Visual arts (graffiti/street art)

This unique UK festival brings together a young and diverse audience to celebrate all things hip hop, taking over city streets, shopping centres, car parks and venues.

The event is providing a platform for city-region, national and international artists, participants and audiences, attracting a global following on social media.

B-Side offer free and low-cost dance workshops and talent development programmes for participants to get involved and volunteering opportunities working with a professional production team. The ambition for 2022 is to present the city's best hip hop music talent alongside a range of invited artists from the Commonwealth to celebrate B2022.
