Cultural Programme – Virtual Open

This is one of three open cultural programme roundtable discussions taking place across November 2020.

They present a real opportunity to enable the widest possible engagement in what will be a spectacular cultural festival for 2022. The Culture team has already run a number of roundtable discussions in 2020, on a range of themes and provocations.

This session will take place between 10-11.30am and be open to any artists, heritage practitioners and organisations from the West Midlands who have yet to meet with the Culture team, with no specific theme or provocation, just a chance to discuss the opportunity of the 2022 cultural programme.

The aims of the session are to:

  • Bring people with shared interest/practice together, to ask questions of the cultural programme team and vice versa
  • Discuss possible project ideas
  • Begin to ensure activity and ideas are complementary
  • And to identify possible opportunities for collaboration – within the cultural festival or through other aspects of the Games

Everyone will have the opportunity to speak for 5 minutes about their particular area of interest/practice and any ideas they have for 2022, before a wider discussion.

If you / your organisation is interested in attending, please email /, with your name, organisation/role and your preferred date to attend. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, and limited to 10 per roundtable.
