Rapper and radio presenter Lady Leshurr and Team England basketball player Kofi Josephs – both Brummie icons – visited The Lighthouse Young People’s Centre, to inspire young people to get involved in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games by volunteering.

“Volunteering is gonna be huge,” says Kofi. “We need volunteers, it’s super important for the games. I want to be able to inspire at least one person.”

Speaking of her own roots in a youth club in Kingshurst, Lady Leshurr said “I’ve come here today to let you guys know that it’s reality, it’s possible.”
