About the role

B2022 are looking for an experienced General Public Ticket Sales Co-ordinator, to develop and co-ordinate the General Public ticket sales programme to ensure the budgeted revenue target is achieved and to maximise attendance, working alongside the Ticketing Venue Planning Manager. The post holder will be responsible for developing and co-ordinating excellent communication with the General Public through the ticketing programme.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and co-ordination of the General Public ticket sales program across all Sales Channels to meet targeted revenue and maximised attendance
  • Work with the procured Ticketing Service Provider to deliver General Public ticket sales across all sales channels for all sports sessions and ceremonies including on-sale planning and delivery
  • Support the Venue Ticketing Planning manager through collaborating on seat assignment and venue build workloads. Attend venue operational planning meetings as required
  • Support the assignment of seating to General Public ticket sales and other client groups as necessary. This is to ensure validity of builds and transfer of public ticket sales into seats
  • Develop and co-ordinate the customer service processes and procedures working alongside internal Functional Areas (FAs) and the procured Ticketing Service Provider to ensure excellent Customer Service and swift resolution throughout on-sales and the Games
  • Work with relevant FAs and the procured Ticketing Service Provider to ensure public ticketing guides and assets are used correctly and are fit for purpose
  • Develop and own reporting processes and delivery for General Public ticket sales
  • Support the development of the Ticketing and Marketing Strategic Plan
  • Develop the Games-time operational plan for public ticketing and problem resolution at all venues
  • Responsible for all ticket sales legislation in line with the sale of tickets

Skills & Responsibilities Required

  • Significant relevant ticketing experience, including working for a large-scale organization or major sports event with a focus on sales, operational planning and delivery with excellent results
  • Knowledge of ticket planning and sales processes for multi-sport events
  • Commercially focused to be able to maximise ticketing revenue
  • Management of ticket quotas across a multi-venue event
  • Experience of working with governing bodies
  • Experience with the latest ticketing technologies
  • Client management experience
  • High level of organisational skills and experience in a similar role within a multi-venue events environment
  • Displays a clear vision and knows what they want to achieve
  • Considers impact of decisions on individuals, wider organisation and commercially
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary organisation and to build active, cooperative partnerships with external organisations in an integrated manner
  • Ability to creatively apply a high level of knowledge to devise bespoke strategies, delivered to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous Games experience as a desirable
