The Sparkle Shelter has been created by co design with local organisations, Friends of Sparkhill Park, St John’s Primary School, The Springfield Project, St Christopher’s Church, The Food Bank, Narthex, Ladies Day Christchurch, Peace Garden Refugee Group and Sparkle in the Park artists, Sophie Handy, Catriona Heatherington and Claire Witcomb.
Join Friends of Sparkhill Park for the launch of Sparkle in the Park 30 July. As part of the launch there are opportunities to interact with the artwork through a range of workshop activities and a Sparkle in the Park Parade led by Oya Batucada samba band and a Sparkle bird puppet and performer.
