During the challenging time of lockdown in the midst of a global pandemic, we wanted to help try and bring people together, albeit virtually, to share their experiences and forge new friendships.
To help make this happen, we held ‘Dinner with Strangers’ and with people from across the West Midlands to taking part in this project.
Whilst we were all physically social distancing, Dinner With Strangers helped to build a virtual bridge between two people from different walks of life. Regardless of age, where people are from or what you do – our aim was to unite.
We handpicked 44 people to take part in this virtual dinner ‘date’, during which they discussed each other’s hopes, fears, traditions and cultures, as well as sharing experiences of lockdown.
The conversations were recorded, collated and shared across our social channels and here on our website.
